The models that I would consider are Impact Evaluation and Effectiveness Evaluation. First, Impact Evaluation assesses a programs reach to the audience. I would use this model to evaluate instruction by using the method activities to assure that instruction is reaching intended beneficiaries. Interviewing would be an activity to get others perspective on how the program is benefiting them. The second model I would consider using is Effectiveness Evaluation. This model assesses the significance of outcomes. I would organize a feedback workshop to get input from others and then make necessary changes that are needed. 
A technological innovation that was recently introduced was Microsoft Web Expressions. Microsoft Web Expression is web design software that helps you design and develops web pages. The most difficult part of this process was the layers and coding. Layers will appear right align but when you preview the web page it doesn’t look how it appeared in the edit mode. The coding was maybe more tedious than difficult because one error will cause a fail in the page. Finding that error and correcting it can be a little tedious and frustrating. Once I corrected the errors and inputted the information the outcome made all the work well worth it.
I would use Situational Leadership to facilitate the use of technology in the classroom by creating a professional development day training that emphasizes technology in the classroom. The class sessions would act as a technology leadership workshops for teachers. The classes that would be offered could be Technology based learning, How to integrate technology in the classroom, Technology activities for the classroom, and Benefits of technology in the classroom. I think these courses would be very beneficial for the teachers and also enjoyable.

I am going to be teaching Web Design next year. Have you ever used Dreamweaver? If so, is Web Expressions a better program in your opinion?

ReplyDeleteI haven't used Dreamweaver but i have been told that Dreamweaver was harder to learn and a bit more expensive than Web Expression.
